Elfen Lied is an anime about a girl with 2 pairs of invisible hands that she controls with her mind coming out of her back. They vibrate at a very high rate so they can cut anything,, But wait there are more chicks like this being raised in a lab?? o.O It would appear that there are more of these types of creatures to speak (forget the name the show called them) being born with a virus that is making them all this way. But an evil man instead of trying to cure the virus is testing on the creatures to make a new world order. Very bloody show filled with smart ass comments and random groping. OK now onto the DMO.
Digimon Masters Online is a questing style game, no pvp or real raiding to say as of yet as it is in open beta test. You pick one of 3 characters from the latest season of digimon and one of three starters. Augumon, Gaomon and some little green flower thing (don't remember the name). You do quests for the main story and sub quests which unlock more sub quests and main story bits. The game really revolves around its some what existing main story ( and that's being generous). You get new digimon through mercenary digieggs which is a pain in the ass to get if its not a digiegg you can obtain through a quest. Example: you want a lets say a gabumon. You must kill all kinds of gabumon and any of his digivolutions till he drops the Gabumon mercenary digiegg, which of course will take some time as the drop rate for merc eggs is soooo low. So you got one? great ... now for even more work. Now you must acquire how ever many data chips it needs to hatch it in the incubator. Gabumon merc egg takes 5 beast chips per data input. Now you gotta kill any digimon that drops a beast digiegg, then scan the digiegg. But you wont always get a beast data chip out of the egg. Sometimes you will get food or even nothing depending on the rarity of the egg. White beast eggs will usually give food or nothing at all, green beast digieggs will usually give a beast data chip, and blue beast dgigeggs will go 50/50 getting a chip or nothing. So you got 5 chips now and your ready to input data to hatch it? WRONG! You have 5 chips, that's enough for 1 data input sequence, you need at least 3 data input sequences to hatch an egg, and 4-5 to have it hatch at a normal size. 15 chips needed to hatch the gabumon at its lowest size. Its tedious to get any new digimon but well worth it i think, gives a more sense of satisfaction when you do get it to hatch and knowing not everyone has that digimon to because they don't wanna put in the effort. Oh by the way did i mention that the data input sequences can fail? and if it fails it can randomly break restarting that whole farming progress? Ya kind of a big deal. All in all its a fun game i think, some bugs at the moment but hey its beta. Only aloud 3 hrs of game time a day because they only have 1 server up for now. But for all you hardcore digifans wanting some fun from your child hood i recommend this to all 4/5 in my book.Well that's today's post here is a link to any of you wanting to check out DMO http://www.joymax.com/dmo/ Thank you to all my readers. kirby loves you to <(^.-<)
